A barren piece of land became a blank canvas. Monumental sculptural faces framed the entrance while neon-lit installations displayed playful references. The pathway narrowed into a boiler-room-inspired tunnel of laser beams and immersive soundscapes before opening onto the Wall of Fame. Personalised coffee cups and rolled menu scrolls with handwritten messages from the couple welcomed every guest.

The celebration unfolded in three chapters. It began at the Coffee Lounge, where guests signed customised cups and DJs played intimate sets. Hidden bells summoned handcrafted coffees from concealed brewing stations — coffee became an interaction. The high-tea area came alive with live music, neon performers and a dramatic kinetic ball ceiling that transformed with light and movement.

As the sun disappeared, the sundowner became a rave. Twin Strings took the main stage, followed by DJ NYK — neon wristbands lit the crowd, glitter artists moved through the celebration, and every guest found the dance floor. The Progressive Brothers closed the night. What began as a barren plot became an immersive world built entirely around the couple's memories, passions and personalities.

The parrot (Mithu) and the pomegranate (Anar) became the two storytellers of the afternoon — Mithu for Shashvi's playful side, Anar for prosperity and fresh beginnings. We treated the garden like a hand-painted canvas: soft pastel pinks melting into lush greens, custom prints, handcrafted furniture, bespoke linens and delicate floral work woven throughout, for nearly 300 guests.

Guests wandered through gazebo lounges anchored by two sculptural installations — one an intricate floral pomegranate, the other an elaborate parrot. Interactive corners pulled everyone in: hand-painted tote bags of the couple's love story, travel-bag customisation and Bareli Ke Bazaar with traditional Punjabi artisans. A popsicle bar, slushy station and mocktail bar set the sundowner mood, while Mumbai Bazaar served Shiv Sagar-style pav bhaji and street classics.

As Akanksha Bhandari's soulful voice carried the evening, host Ayush kept guests engaged with games and laughter, and heartfelt family performances followed. Then, just when the night felt at its peak, Shaan surprised Shashvi with a ring — an intimate, unexpected, unforgettable moment. On their way out, a nostalgic Namkeen Bhandar let guests build their own hampers. A quiet garden had turned into a whimsical little world.

A palette of royal reds, oranges and yellows defined the aesthetic. Guests were welcomed through a grand entrance of elephant installations, bells, diyas, handcrafted jharokhas and intricate floral detailing — an arrival experience inspired by the hospitality of Indian palaces. The baraat carried the same scale and energy, with dhol players, bands and DJs turning the arrival into a spectacle.

At the heart of the wedding was Shashvi's vision of a floating Chauri — a larger-than-life floral sanctuary of marigolds, shola and sevanti blooms, appearing to float above water. With less than 48 hours to build the platform, structure and floral installation, multiple teams worked simultaneously to bring it to life. More than 300 guests were seated with clear views of the rituals, each receiving a curated saptapadi booklet and delicate ghungroos.

Following the ceremony, guests were guided into a royal darbar dining experience — carved arches, oversized bells and jewellery-inspired tablescapes that transformed every table into an experience. Despite its scale, the celebration stayed true to its purpose: regal yet intimate, grand yet deeply personal — remembered not only for how it looked, but for how it made people feel.
