A run of celebrations for Ashka and Niket, dressed for a different hour of the day each time, from a poolside sundowner to a morning-after brunch.
The Sippy Sundowner took over a pool deck for the late afternoon. Bare filament bulbs were strung low over the water on fine cabling, a pale awning cut the last of the sun, and gold cocktail tables and white chairs were set out along the deck and onto the grass, each round table finished with a printed floral cloth and its own low arrangement.
Brunch traded the pool for a garden set piece: fluted plinths stacked with pale spheres, gladioli and mixed blooms opening out of them, and a hand-drawn floral backdrop panel behind. The couple's own colours, pinks and creams against green, ran through the florals, the linen and the stationery.
Both functions were kept deliberately soft. Nothing towered, nothing shouted. The design stayed at eye level, close enough for guests to sit inside it rather than look at it.
