In January 2025 the DFL crew was on ground at the Narendra Modi Stadium through the build for the Coldplay shows, working alongside the production teams on site setup and execution.
Days started at the unloading yard, sorting and staging material as it came off the trucks and laying the groundwork for the structures that followed. From there the work moved to the site office, where the crew read and re-read the ground plans that decide where every truss, barricade and access route lands.
Most of what a production crew does at this scale is invisible by showtime: sequencing the build, keeping the plan and the ground in agreement, and solving whatever the drawings did not anticipate. The photographs here are our own team's, taken between shifts.
By nightfall the stadium looked like a different building, the main structure standing under the floodlights with the field still full of equipment. This was production and build support, delivered as part of the wider show crew.
