Letters to Rob

Set on a dramatic clifftop at AYANA Resort, Bali, overlooking the turquoise ocean, the celebration blooms like a dream. The decor transforms the space into a lush floral haven, with blossoms and greenery cascading along the aisle to create an enchanting pathway down to the sea.

At its heart stood a circular floral pavilion, a canopy of lavender, hydrangea and roses in soft pinks and purples, framing the couple against the water. Guest tables spilled across the manicured lawns in a garden-party palette, every seat with a view of the ceremony and the waves beyond.

The sweet fragrance of flowers mingled with the ocean air, making guests feel as though they were enveloped in a living love letter, a moment where nature and emotion united in perfect harmony. A Bridgerton-inspired white wedding, designed and executed entirely in-house by DFL Events.

The welcome began at the gateway. Penjor, the tall curved bamboo poles that mark a celebration in Bali, were set on either side of the entrance so guests arrived through the island's own language of welcome.

Each function took a different corner of the estate. A poolside afternoon ran bright and graphic, with oversized pinwheels in marigold and coral rising out of low floral beds around a blush stage. The evening moved into a mirrored room of chrome spheres and pink neon, built for photographs as much as for dancing.

The largest build spread across the open lawn: twin stages, dining laid out under the trees, walkways and a lit runway, arranged so the whole ground read as a single composition from the air.
